The Taiwan Association for Schools of Public Administration and Affairs (TASPAA) was established in 2003.

The major goal of TASPAA is to promote academic exchanges and collaborations among teachers and researchers, and elevate quality of teaching and public service.

Ever since TASPAA was established, it has been devoted in collaborating with the government in the implementation and promotion of practical and theoretical research, and public administration and public policy education, training or activity.

TASPAA holds annual general meetings and academic conferences every year. It has since become one of the most important academic conferences on public administration and public policy in Taiwan. Not only does TASPAA provide a platform for academics, experts and graduate students to publish their latest research results, it is also an important arena for the discourse between government officials, civil servants and academic scholars.
